Chinese Critter

Just when you thought it was safe…

That is a bat, found in the hotel room of one of the flight instructors. Not here in Shijiazhuang, but at our satellite base in a small city called Binzhou. About a month ago, some of our students and some instructors moved there, and from what I’ve been hearing, it is quite an experience. I don’t know if the DH will have to go there, but it does seem that all the instructors are supposed to rotate through different bases. (We might get a base in Hainan – an island in the South, near Vietnam, so it has phenomenal weather. That is one base I wouldn’t mind being moved to.) Let’s just hope they get rid of the bats soon.
