I hoped it wouldn’t happen, but it did. Our flight was delayed and delayed and delayed, but finally, we made it out of Shanghai and I’m now in our cute bed & breakfast here in Chiang Mai. (3Sis)
When we entered Pudong (Shanghai) Airport last night at 8:30, I was overwhelmed by masses and masses of people, camped out in front of non-working check-in desks. What the…? Unfortunately for them, but happily for us, we were in the domestic check-in area and soon found our way to our international flight. There were a lot of unhappy people waiting for flights around China and it didn’t look like they were going anywhere anytime soon. Groups of people were even chanting angrily!
I can finally breathe easier, now that I am off of airplanes for a week and in a warm and balmy climate. Now all I need is sleep… more soon!
