Yes, I’ve seriously gone crazy. You are not gonna believe this… I can hardly believe this… It’s midnight, and I’ve just booked a ticket to Thailand. That’s right… In 8 hours I will be on a flight from Qingdao to Shanghai and then from Shanghai to Bangkok. I’m not entirely sure why, other than I cannot be in this city any more and I am tired of waiting for the Olympics to be over. I am tired of waiting for this company to get its act together. I am out of here, and yes, it really was that spontaneous. I don’t even know where I am going – Chiang Mai, Koh Chang or even just a few days in Bangkok. It doesn’t matter to me. I just need a break from China. And after only a few weeks here, that is saying a lot…
China – you drive me crazy. What can I do? I feel like I am doing the only sane thing at the moment.
