One of my favorite fruits

Like a giant grapefruit

What do you call these things? Cells?
They can be eaten individually, just pluck a cell off!

Wonderful macro shot!
I would have gulped it down without thinking even once.
Thanks Indrani, I’m a total photography amateur, so all the credit goes to the camera!
Hmmm I have never heard of them, are they sour like grapefruits? Nice photos too.
They are not as sour as grapefruits, the taste varies from fruit to fruit, but they can be anywhere from sweet to a little sour. You never need to add sugar like some people do with grapefruit.
I’ve only seen this fruit in Asia, never in the Americas.
I believe they are called sacs
Anyways, you are right, there’s plenty of that here in Asia. Have you tried the Vietnamese pomelo and shrimp salad? Oh heavenly!
sacs! thanks! I’ve got to try pomelo and shrimp salad. I would love it! How I love Asian food!!
Hehehehe…no way!! just bought one today!!! gonna go devour it now!!!
Khadijah – great minds think alike! Enjoy!
