Linyi Courtyard House
I love this house. Many times when we drive past there are a few elderly gentlemen sitting outside playing cards or just watching the world go by. It is the entrance to a traditional courtyard style house and is probably home to many families. There is no telling how much longer these buildings will stand. They are being torn down left and right in favor of towering office and residential towers.
I’m still on my way to Vancouver.

Gorgeous picture, which tells tales of a time gone by. I hadn’t thought of the fact that China must have the same housing problem as the rest of the world. Here in London the same is happening. Old, traditional houses are being torn down and being replaced with modern blocks of flats, that can accommodate many more people in the same space.
