Not that I remember… I believe I was six weeks old.

Grand Canyon Circa 1976
My brother and sister might remember, however, as they were about seven and five years old. And they rocked the Grand Canyon! Check out my brother’s collar!

I obviously have no memories of being here, so I’ll have to go back someday. I imagine that it is one of the “wonders of the world” that truly does not disappoint. I love that over 30 years time, it probably hasn’t changed at all. Now millions of years, that’s a different story!
I am home visiting my parents right now and have been scanning lots of old photos. This post is part of Photo Friday, featuring travel photos. See more here.

Your photos are fabulous! I have never been to the Grand Canyon. I have only seen it from an airplane (pretty amazing!). Someday…
Great pictures! I would love to see the Grand Canyon. It would be great for you to get pictures and put them next to these!
Awesome! I adore that top photo, it looks like an old painting! Grand Canyon is on my wish list to go. I wonder if I’ll ever manage to go there…. *dreaming*
Aha! Started your travels early, eh? Maybe that made an imprint! LOL. We did early travel with our daughter wanting to imprint good memories of things like the ocean at a few days old and first time to play in snow ( we had to go to Yosemite) at 2 months etc.
It does not always matter what you remember, it is still part of you.
The Grand Canyon is fabulous! Perhaps you really appreciate it more when you are older, although hopefully your sibs have some happy memories if you did fun things like the donkey rides. I know my early travel had a huge impact on my life.
I love it when people share their vintage travel photos! Makes me think of trips I took as a kid. Thanks for sharing.
Great pictures! I really want to spend a week scanning pictures at my parents house. They have loads and I want copies of everything!
Maybe you just blocked out the trip because you were overwhelmed by your brothers pimped out collar on that shirt…
