Yes, they did, but of course everyone in the operations office was freaking out. I think everyone got a lecture about how you can’t fly within one million kilometers of a thunderstorm in China.

Yikes. I remember when Rod was training in Tucson… Those super-nasty-monsoons could spring up at any moment. I finally had to tell him that, unless he REALLY needed to talk about it, I did not want to know how many times he almost died in a day.
