An Asturian Weekend

August 22, 2009

in Spain

Who? What? Where? When?

I’m going away for the weekend with friends of the DH. I have been “informed” that we are going, but I have no idea where we are going. All I know is there might be some canoeing. How is one supposed to pack for this kind of weekend? Asturias is the kind of place where it is 25C and sunny one minute and 15C and raining the next.

So I’ll be back on Sunday or Monday.

Update: There was canoeing – and it was a blast! We stayed at the country house of a good friend and ate delicious food all evening. Perfect weekend!

I am Spanish, from Madrid but I love Asturias!

Yes, it’s true the weather is unpredictable but this time of year should be fine!

I would recommend you to find a rural home and rent a car. There are so much to see in the surroundings
Enjoy your visit!
