Oh, how I love Target! I'll definitely be doing the majority of my shopping there. Do the Starbucks in Beijing have the special Christmas drinks?

Please have a mint mocha for me at Starbucks - I miss those things. And don't forget to visit Target. Talk about overwhelming. Enjoy the visit.

LOL on the sound of music dance at the food museum, I know EXACTLY what you mean! So I'm guessing the veggie selection in Iceland is not very good, eh?
Enjoy your visit home!

I have had V-8 in lots of places, I probably should not have lumped it together with the buttermilk. Actually, the selection in Kuwait back in the early 90s was pretty good! Back then the Sultan Center was the only place you could buy Blue Bell ice cream outside of Texas. We were pretty shocked to find that there!

You can get V-8 in Kuwait - I grew up on the stuff! I'm sure there are other countries it's sold in.

How weird! Your list looks almost exactly like mine but I'll be home in WI from Iceland. The only differences are:
--I will sadly not enjoy fast internet as my parents live on a farm
--I will not be enjoying chicken-fried steak or daily ice cream (in Iceland, ice cream is a national obsession)

When I go to the Food Museum, I will probably break into a glorious song-and-dance number (Sound of Music style) once I feast my eyes upon the wonderful non-rotten vegetables. Oh, and I'm a huge fan of American-Chinese food. Yum.
