I’m back in Beijing and compared to Harbin it is positively balmy. The DH is back in Shandong to compete in the final ski race that he started last month at Yi Shui. First place is a car! Right now I am at a coffee shop/bookstore (The Bookworm) where everyone around me has an a) iphone and/or b) Mac laptop of some kind. I can’t decide whether I am among kindreds or just really trendy types… and what that says about me (since I’ve got my MacBookPro AND iphone out AND connected to wifi.)
