A Little Spring Reminiscing

Our TO house – this photo sparked a little reminiscing today.

I miss my comfy living room.

I miss you Toronto. I miss you Kensington Market. I miss you Bathurst St. house. I miss you TO friends.

Sometimes you come across a photo while randomly searching through files and you have to pause.

I loved this living room. I loved this house. I loved this neighborhood.

And while I love our new adventures, I can’t help but stop sometimes

and fondly recall so many good times long past.

Not only here, but in Avilés and San José and Victoria and Goliad and Kuwait and Castle Rock

and all the places I have visited over the years.

Maybe because it is a time of renewal, a time of rebirth, a time for Spring cleaning.

As the world celebrates Passover and Easter and Qing Ming and the arrival of Spring

I think of my family and friends spread out across the world.

Wishing you a happy weekend!

Hi Global Gal,

I know what you mean about reminiscing over the places you once lived — my husband and I certainly have fond memories wrapped up in many apartments we shared together.

Your TO house looks so bright and cozy. :-)

LOL! Actually, everything in the photo is gone except for the stuff on the shelf along the wall and some of the books. Makes me sad just thinking about it.
